' Norfolk.—The mine manager reports otf, the progress made in the various sections! of this now mining property, and expresses: his opinion that the Company have a very, valuable mine, the ground containing as] it does so many reefs already proved to, carry good patches of gold. The ground; is easy for working, and is of a sandstone! nature intersected by mineral veins. • May Queen*. —Capital progress is being; made with the cleaning oub and*repairing! of the shaft. ;
Trenton.—There is no change to report.. The country in the face of both, drives is still hard.
