TWO MEN MISSING.

Wanganui, this day. On Saturday night Mr T. Dawson, tele graphist, and Mr E. Newing, farmer, went out?in the boating club tub Floundering. The tub wa3 found yesterday bottom up, and as the occupants have not been heard of since it is supposed that they have been drowned, especially as a coat
found to-day has been recognised as jSfewiugs. i)awson has been in the i service over 20 years and has made a name for himself as the discoverer of the easiest route known to reach the top of Mount Egmont. Newing was a young man living at Manaia, and was on a' visit to Dawson. •
