The theatre at Aldershob was burned to fche ground to-nighb. The performance was in progress when tho fire broke out, and the audience became panic-stricken and a mad rush for we doors ensued. In the struggle to get to the street many persons were trampled upon and injured, and there were a number of narrow escapes from death.
