SWANSON-STREET MURDER.

McDERMOTT FURTHER REMANDED.

Michael McDermott was again called at the Police Court this morning to answer \fl the charge ot having murdered Kate Kennedy in Swanson-street.

Sergeant-Major Pratt stated that the prisoner was still in the Hospital and unfit to appear. He must therefore ask for a further remand.

Dr. Giles, P.M., granted a remand for another eight days. m McDermott has submitted to the operation of having the eye removed which was injured by the shot in Lis head. There is, however, every probability that the man will survive his self-inflicted wounds and appear before the Court to tuisvver the charge preferred a.gainst him.
