The Centennial Regatta commenced yes terday, and is being continued to-day.
The Auckland yacht Akarana, built at fche North Shore by Mr Logan, competed in the race for yachts under ten tons, which
she won
.[.is unofficial reßulb of the firFfc-class yai.hfc race for vessels over ten tons gives she positions as follows:—ldina, Era, Volunteer, Janot, Wanderer, Taniwba, or Waifcangi. Owing, however, to some slight bungling in the arrangements, the latter race will have to be sailed again on Monday next.
