SAD SHOOTING ACCIDENT.

YOUNG MAN FATALLY INJURED.

Dunedin, Sunday.

A KERIOUS shooting accident occurred on Saturday afternoon, and ia likely to have fatal results. Two young men, George Black and Irvine, a son of General Irvine, were out rabbit-whooting at Whare Flat. Black wan kneeling down and Irvine was Siring over his head, when Black suddenly jumped up and received tho charge in tho back of the head. Ke w&s taken to the Hospital, whero it was found that the skull was'badly fractured. An operation was performed, when it was found tho brain tissue was lacerated, and there are no hopes of his recovery. Black is about 13 years of age-
