Lt is noteworthy that of the W6 hands who ■signed the address, ei^iit had boon in tiio doctor's employ for n poriod of ten years, four for nine years, and 41 for poiiodsoi' from six lo ten years. The presentation took place on the evening of Tuesday, 17th inisfc., when Dr. Campbell visited i'o Jvopnru lo bid j^ood-bye to tlio.se who bad so long been in lua employment. There waS a large gathering in To Kopuru Hull on tho occasion—tho chair being occupied by Mr F. Matthews. Alter nn ovurturo by To Kopuru Brass Band, Mr \\. .). Philips sang "Stay With Me, My Darling, Stuy." Air A. Barclay then, in a neat and appropriate .speech, presented JJr. Campbell with the address. In returning thanks, Dr. Campbell re fared to tho j,'oovl f'..eliti^ that had always prevailed bctueen his cmployecH and hiiasolf. At a later aUij/e of the proceedings, he gavo an address dealing with reminiscenceH of his early life in the colony. Un Friday evening last a very aucces.siul ball tendered by Dr. Campbell to the residents of To Kopuru was given.
