Last night's rain made the tracks at Riccartou rather heavy this morning, and the work performed was not of am important character. . British Lion and St. C'lair went two miles at three-quarter speed and Strenuous was sweated over four mile-. Vandal and Minfcuii were associated in a steady two miles and a half, and Cuirassier and Leopold followed with similar work. Exchange went twice round steadily, and Bon of a Gun made one circuit at a similar pace. Chain Shot and Engagement were sweated over two miles and a-half, and Silvermark galloped a mile fit nearly top speed, and then catJtared twice round. Lorraine was eont ajsniio and a-quartor at a smart pace, and Kuby covered two miles afc thrco-quartcr speed.
