One seventh share in the Southern Cross Reef changed hands to-day for £100, the original cost was £6. Waikakaho, Hart, and Gibson, of " the prospectors," took 6 ozs. sdwts. of gold out of a small paddock on Wednesday. One piece was a five ounce nugget. Aldridgs and party stiuck gold on Thursday, and by the end of the week expect to get good gold.
