:At Messrs D.. F. Evans and Co.'s Auction Mart to-day an allotment in Bridge-street, Ponsonby,' and property and business premises, Great" North Road, were put up for sale, .but there was a poor attendance, and bidding was very low. The properties were eventually bought in by the mortgagee. A land sale also took place at Arthur and -Buddies Auction Mart, properties at • Waitakerei, , Marsdonj and; allotments and dwelling-houses in Ponsonby being put up for auction.. The bidding was poor and some of the properties were withdrawn, the others being* bought by the mortgagee.
