The terms " Chinese " inthe Act lias been defined so as not to in. elude those naturalised in New Zealandl The Clauses introduced in the Counci preventing Chinese from voting at municipal elections have been struck out. AUCKLAND GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL BILL. This Bill has been discharged from the order paper at the instance of the' Minister of Education. .
