MURDER AND ATTEMPTED . '* SUICIDE.
. ' • Brisbane, this day. EDMUND DUHIMEL, a Frenchman, murdered a woman named Mrs Riley, his paramour, near Croyden. He nearly cut her head off with, a razor. After' this tragic deed he attempted suicide by means of strychnine, but having administered an overdose it acted as an emetic. Duhunel has been arrested. The cause of the enmo was jealousy. '
