"COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO."
POULTRY FANCIERS AGAIN.
The prizes won at the recent show of the Auckland Poultry Association were distributed on Saturday night.. Mr Cartwrighb, who was a large prize taker ariiong the exhibitors of the Game birds was informed that a protest had been entered against his receiving any prizes on the ground'that lie had broken two of the rules of the Association by entering birds not his loncu fide, property, and that in consequence the Committee, declined to ; hand him over his prizes. We are in-: formed that Mr Cartwrigh fc has taken legal advice arid that the matter will be fought out in the law courts in a very short time. The Committee of the Associal tion have advised thair'-.solicitors also that things are likely to be rather sultry in the' poultry world. :
