The Right Rev. Dr. Luck, Bishop oil Auckland, has furnished Mr J. M. Grace with a testimonial in connection with his canvass on behalf of the- " JJfarly History oi the Roman Catholic Chjurch." I cannot too highly recommend this publication, and ■ trust ib will meet with a largo sale amongst the members of the Catholic Church; and that the publisher's enterprise, in undertaking the publication of a book which forms such a suitable souvenir of the jubilation year of the Catholic Church in New Zealand, will meet with the success.^ so highly deserves."
