In mining, business was done in Saxons at 3s 9d and 03 lOd, and shares may be had for 4s; Manukaus have been sold for 2s 2d, and are now quoted—buyers, 2s ; sellers, 2s 2d. Colonists found purchasers at 3s 9<l and 4s 2d, and sellers now ask 4s 6d, and buyers now offer 4s. Tne other quotations aro : Bank of New Zealand, buyers £10 10s; Union Insurance, buyers 25s ; Land Mortgage, sellers 20s; Accident Insurance, buyers 7s 3d.
