EXPECTED SETTLEMENT,

Wellington, this day. » The Native Minister received a telegram to-day that the Northern Native chiefs had all arrived at Whangarei, and Mr Clendon expects to wire their views on the disturbance to morrow. A settlement is still expected without the necessity for the Native Minister going North.
