He said it would be the same as bankruptcy, that I should be allowed £25 worth ; that I could carry on i:i the meantime, and he would collectthcbookdebts.andseoaJUhecreditors paid. Aa one of the worst things I :ould do was to go through the Court, he added that as soon as I signed a paper which he produced, he would go round to all the creditors for their signatures' agreeing to take out the bailiff. Next 6ay, the bailiff being still in possession, I wanted to know the reason, and ho replied thab the bailiff could nob be removed until he (the creditor) got everything, and he thereupon took away all my trade utensils, a horse which did not belong to me, and- all the bedding and furniture except a few blankets and sheets, of tho total value of £15, exclusive of the horse. I have pnt these things down in my schedule, because I bulieve they were wrongfully taken away and belong to the estate stiil." J. C.
