The following team has been selected to represent Wellington against bhe Maoris on Saturday : —Buck, Sim ; three - quarters, Fairbrother, Wilford, Eraser ; halves, Roberts, Moore ; forwards, Cockcroft, King, Storey, Moore, Malcolm, McCleary, Rylance, Smith, Hume. Rylance is an old Auckland boy. Wanganui, this day. The second match for the Senior Cup between the first fifteens of the Wanganui and Gordon clubs took place on the Recreation Reserve on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the Gordons by three points (a potted goal from the field by Saunders of St. Patrick's College) to nil. In the first spell no score was recorded, Wanganui having best of the game. The second spell was very evenly contested. Prior to the commencement of the game the Wanganui's were- presented with a handsome banner by Mr Prockman on behalf of Messrs Fitzgerald, Paul, and himself. Three cheers were given ior the donors. Dunedin, this day. The University defeated the Union by one point; Zingari Second beat Dunedin by one point; Kaikorai scored five points against Taieri's nil; Pirates and Montecillo, draw.
