M.G.T.—The merits of such cases can only be ascertained by hearing both sides in an action at law.
D.D.—The s.g. Tauranga collided with a ketch off Sail Rock and sank on the night; of July 24, 1870.
L.E.M.L.—There is no law in force in New Zealand providing " what percentage of alcohol is allowed in medicine." Medicines containing alcohol do not require special registration, unless for trade mark purposes.
Football Accidents.—The Rugby Union always makes provision in the most deserving cases brought under their notice. We are informed that rhey have the accident you refer to in hand now, and " Sympathiser " may be sure of the case receiving justice.
CO. (Helensville). —Under ordinary circumstances, if all the money payable under the terms of a contract have been paid by the principals, orders are valueless as against them, and tho only remedy is against the persoli issuing the orders. The mere payment of previous orders would not render tho principals liable. There may, of course, be other special circumstances in this case which would amount to a guarantee, and if so, you should consult a solicitor.
