ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN CRICKET.
London, June 23.
The cricket match between the Aus" tralian Eleven and the Marylebono C.p and ground was resumed yesterday. The wicket was sticky after the recent wet weather. In their second innings, the Australians were all disposed of for 96, Trott ' playing a fine innings tor 45 The obher principal Ecores were: Bonnor 24, and Ferris 10. Both Barnes and Attewell secured three wickets. The Marylebone Eleven started their second innings, wanting 125 runs to win. When the stumps were drawn for the day, they had lost seven wickets for 101 runs. The principal scores were: Steel, 22; Key, 18; Gunn, 17; and Flowers, 13. Turner was dead on the wicket, and five of the batsmen fell to his credit. There was great excitement to-aay towards the finish of the match. W 7hen the Marylebone players resumed their second innings they required 23 runs to get to win, and bad three wickets: to fall. The bowling of the visitors was, however, too good, and the remaining -wickets only added nine run* The innings closed for 110, leaving the Australians victors by 14 runs. Turner secured six wickets for 52 runs, and Worrall two for nine. "•'- .
