ANOTHER RABBIT DESTROYER.
Poison fkom the Human Bbeath,
Professor Bkoavx-Skquaed lias recently been making experiments to determine whether the human breath was capable of pioducing any poisonous effects. From the condensed watery vapour of the expired air he obtained a poisonous liquid which, when injected into the skin of rabbits, produced almost immediate death. Ho ascertained that this was an alkaloid, and not a microbe. The rabbits thus injected died without convulsions, the heart and large blood vessels being engorged with blood. BrownSequard considers itfuily proved that tho expired air, both of man and animals, contains a volatile poisonous principle which is much more deleterious than carbonic acid. Ihe amount of poisonous air expired with the I breath depends on the condition ot tho | purifying organs of the system; cverj particle of blood that goes through tho kidneys also passes through the heart and lungs, and if tho kidneys are in the least deranged, they cannot rid the blood ot the uric acid or kidney poison. The thousand little hair-like sever tubes of the kidneys very easily get clogged up and diseased, and when they do they corrupt instead! of purifying the blood ; this, no doubt, accounts for Warner's Safe Cure, which acts directly on the kidneys, curing so many diseases. Captain Jas, S. Smith, Bluff Point, New Zealand, suffered for 20 years with frequent pains in the back, hips, and thigh;;. Ho says : " In later years j it prostrated me so much that I was deterred from oxorting myself in any way. My urine was loaded with sediment like brickdust, and while passing water I ex- j perienced sudden onsets o£ pain. I was also afflicted with trembling in the heart, and my digestive faculties were so weak that I was often unable to retain any food on the stomach. In the evenings, swelling of the lower extremities of my limbs sot in, gradually subsiding in the morning. In this miserable condition, physically, after having tried everything I could hear of, I commenced the use of Warner's Safe Cure and Warner's Safe Pills. After using three bottles, I was amazed at tho gratifying results, for my pains became greatly modified, and my water perfectly clear. My painful symptoms left me, and I began to properly digest my food. I have consumed 24 bottles of 'Warner's Safe Cure with 10 vials of Warner's Safe Pills, and, as a consequence, I have increased 211b in weight. My health is batter than it has been during 'the last 20 years." Mrs Thomas Fordhara, of Campbelltown, N.Z., wife of one of the oldest settlers of the " Bluff," writes : " For the past 5 years I have been completely prostrated with kidney and liver disease, causing fearful aching pains across the kidneys, hips, back, and shoulder blades. There was often a sensation of distension across the abdomen, with pain on the slightest pressure. I have also been troubled lor a number of years -with a very severe cough, accompanied by constant expectoration of mucus, which reduced me to a state of extreme feebleness. To these many complaints may be added, occasional fluttering of the heart, and frequent swelling of _ the lower limbs, in fact a complication of ills almosi too great to bear. As people will, when ailing, I tried a, number of medicines, and also resorted to regular medical treatment, but derived nosubstantial benefit. I finally .heard of Warner's Safe Remedies, and obtained Warner's Safe Cure and Warner's Safe Pills.. I got relief from the first bottle.' My pains speedily subsided, while the swelling of my feet was removed with the third bottle. My liver complaint is radical ly improved, and the medicine also produced a free expectoration, curing my chronic catarrh, by removing all irritation. I have in all consumed 8 bottles of Warner's Safe Cure and 5 vials of Warner's Safe Pills, and the benefit I have derived is permanent and radical. My health is as good as it ever was."
