THE MURDER AT PENTECOST ISLAND.
Sydney, May 31.
H.M.s. Eaven has returned from the Islands, where she has been making inquiries into the circumstances attending the murder of Walker at Pentecost Island, while labour recruiting in January last. It was ascertained that the murder was committed without any provocation whatever. The names of the . murderers have been obtained, and H.M.s. Diamond will endeavour to effect their capture.
