The Union are giving tilio' native team 60 par cent, of the gross proceeds, and if public interest is well aroused there will no doubt be a large attendance at the match.
There is a chance of a Thames " rep. " team and, one from Tauranga playing here this season, so that the local men will have their hands full.
At a meeting of the Auckland Representatives held last evening the offer of the proprietor of the Stak and " Family Friend " to present each of tho team with a silver cup or other trophy in commemoration of their victory over the Englishmen was accepted with thanks. A majority of those present being in favour of medals, it was decided to ask the donor to allow the presentation to take that form.
