Tho captains of the steamers Afghan and Tsinan, fearing that if an attempt is made to take back tho Chinese passengers a serious outbreak will occur on the return voyage have determined not to risk the lives of themselves, and their crews. _hey havo claimed from Admiral Fairfax, commanding tho Australian Squadron, the protection of the British ilag, aud ask for naval guards or an armed convoy. The Admiral will decide what answer to return to their request on the return of 11.M.5. Nelson.
