Blenheim, this day,

Titkre is great activity in the flax industry in this district, To-day, Mr Chaytor, aeheop farmer, starts a mill to employ 20 hands. Mr Pollars, lato manager of tho Brick Hill and Tophouso Station, will shortly start a mill on tho north bank of tho VVairau River D. H. Pattio lately started a mill at Brick Hill. All tho old mills are working night and day ; whero water fails steam power in brought into requisition. In pome cases the raw material is carted fifteen and twenty miloa to tho mill.
