FAREWELL TO MAJOR DANE.
Major Dane sails in the Wairarapa tomorrow for England, via Australia, and tonight gives his farewell lecture in the Opera House, a lecture of double interest to us, for not only does it convey the Major's " Impressions of New Zealand," bub in its main points it will be the same as he will deliver on our colony in England. There is every prospect of a bumper house, as the plan is already nearly full and we trust that it will be another experiencelike that when he pave "Up the Rhine" in the early past oi luia stay amongst us.
