SENSATIONAL ATTEMPT AT WIFE MURDER.
Melbourne, April 28. A Sensational attempt at murder was made at Richmond, a suburb of the city, last night. A yonng married woman named Marchim, living apart from her husband, received a telegram brought by a cabman, requesting her to come as he? mother Avar. ill.
She accompanied the cabmen to her mother's house, and while alighting, her husband, who was in waiting, fired two shots with a revolver.
