All Saints , Athletic Club.

The postponed meeting of the All Saints' Athletio Club waa held in All Saints' school on Monday nighfe There waa A good attendance of members, Mr J. Clark presiding, the minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed, and the balance-sheet disclosed a very satisfactory state of the financial affairs, the total receipts of the Club (ex* elusive of the eports) being £36 12s 2d, and the expenditure £3016s 2d, leaving a credit balance of £4 16s. The rules of the Club were then discussed seriatiitii an additon being made to the name of the Club by inserting the word "Amateur" before Athletic, which was warmly discussed, and carried by a large majority. The Sports Committee then laid their suggested programme for the 21st of April befbre the meeting, and it was decided that all events, with the exception of the All Saints' Amateur Athletic Club Handicap, be opon to all past aft well as present members, and also to members of parochial institutions who have had their names on the books for three months preceding the date of entry. This in itself should ensure good fields. The Club Handicap la restricted to members of 1858 only, and it is expected that there will be fully 15 entries for this event alone. The Club have decided not to charge for admission to their sports, which are to be held on the Domain Cricket Ground, but to make a email charge for their programmes only. The Club resume* gymnastic praotice on Thursday, April sth, under the conductorship of Professor Carrollo, who haa been their instructor from the founding of the Club, and itspeakswonders forhiscare that none of the members have ever met with an accident during hie three years' tuition. About twelve new membere were elected, after which the me6ting proceeded to the election of officers for the ensuing year, when the following gentlemen were elected : — Patron, T. Peacock, Esq., M.H.R. ; President, T. T. Masefield Esq. ; Vice-presidents, Messrs D. F. Evah3, W. Taylor, G. Cruickshank, andE. T. Dufaur; Secretary, Mr J. Lusher; auditors, Messrs J. Clark and W. D. Cosser; Committee, Messrs E. Dowden, F. Rotherham, J. Clark, C. Stone, R. R. Masefield. A vote of thanks to the Chairman and outgoing officers terminated the meeting.
