At a meeting of the Auckland Regatta Club held last Friday the accounts were submitted and proved satisfactory. The first races of the Auckland Bowing Club • —inaugural fours—took place on Wednesday everfing. Crews stroked by Messrs Dacre and Baker opened the ball, and made a grand race, side by side the whole distance. Baker led a few yards from home, but Dacre came up with a great rush at the finish, and the race resulted in a dead heat. Mr Hogg's crew beat M'r,Hen> deson's crew by a very short distance. On Thursday evening the third heat was rowed, when Younghusband's crew beat Hay's by three lengths. On Friday Baker's and Dacre's crews decided their dead heat; when Baker's crew won by a length. The postponed races of the Judge's Bay Regatta were brought off on Saturday' afternoon. Three crews started' for the" Kills' race, which was won by Misses SY liilfoyle and L. George, Miases Peachey and Slator being second. Scheritf won the senior swimming race, Nicholson second, and Bailey the junior, lor the sailing race the starters were v'n Klß*lla 8> Arrow; H. Hafington, ialleen ; C. Bailey, Beata. The Arrow

won easily, the Eilleen being second, while owing to' an accident the Beata did not finish.
