A Nutritious Food
The superiority of Gilbert's Cornflour for nursery and sick-room purposes has long been recognised by the medical profession, and the heads of the hospitals and health institutions of tho United States, and promises very s hortly to establish a similar reputation here. This superiority arises from the methods of its preparation at the factory, the process separating by specially patented machinery the nutritious portion ot the corn from the horny and indigestible shell. Manufactured in this way, Gilbert's C-ornflour is an excellent substitute for the best Bermuda arrowroot, being equally wholesome and delicate in flavour, whilst its cost is considerably less. It has long been known that insufficient attention has been paid to the ingredients of the cheaper classes of cornflour, the result being a compound satisfactory in appearance but really as devoid of nourishment and difficult of digestion as a similar quantity of ™ l^n F°n Puddings. custards, &c, UUbert s Cornflour has no equal, and wherever used will be found preferable to every other brand, for ease of "digestion, sustaining properties, and delicacy of flavour. Ask for Gilbert's, and until you have tried it buy no other. If your grocer has not got it, ask him to get it for you, and do not accept as a substitute any inferior article, because it cost him a half-penny pound less. Gilbert s Cornflour, in addition to its special fatness for the sick room and nursery, is the best for puddings, custards, cakes, &c It is used in the beet Cafes and Hotels the world over, and all we ask for it is a companson with the Best Brand in the market and know from experience that every trial secures it the highest appreciation.
