The cargo short shipped at Lyttelton last week per Wairarapa has arrived to-day per Suva, transhipped at Wellington ex Hawea The employees at Carder's Pottery had a picnic at Motutapu on, Saturday. The party numbered about 150 or 200, and were taken down in the p.B. Alexandra. Amusements of various kinds were improvised, and the day pleasantly spent.
A boy named Peters was admitted to the Hospital last night, suffering from a broken leg.
