For a wonder there was a good attendance of the public at the Interprovincial Cricket Match on Saturday, but this was probably due in some measure to < the postponement <5f this ■ .regatta, owing to the prevailing wind. The takings at the gate totted up to over £50 which will.put the Association out of debt. Ray nor and gave an exhibition of pretty cricket, but the latter unfortunately ran two of his side out. Carson bowled in fine form on botli days.
