The ABC. Summer Meeting:.
Good useful work was got through at Ellerslie this morning. Sextant made his first appearance and created a most favourable impression. He cantered twice round, and his stable companion Isaac was treated to a similar work. Nelson was sent a strong gallop twice round, and acquitted himself well. ...... _ . It i 3 understood that Maiim leaves Christcburch for Auckland to-day. He will be taken overland from Wellington to Taranaki, thence to Auckland.
