FANCY DRESS SOCIAL.
A very enjoyable social gathering took place on Wednesday evening in St. George's Hall, the event being the repetition of Messrs Adams' Fancy Dross Social, which j was so successfully held about three week 8 ago. Nearly 70 couples were present, whilst over 100 spectator.'-: occupied the stage. Most) excellent music was discoursed by Messrs It. Adams and Miller, violins; Hahn, flute ; Bachelor, clarionet; Ely and McComish, cornets: J. H. Edwards, double buss, and 8, Adams, piano. The refreshments were supplied by Mr Philip, of Victoria-street, and his catering gave the greatest satisfaction. During the interval Alre Falkner, Meiers Danielle, Hahn, and A. Cooko kindly played extra waltzes. Theonertnu. duties of M.C. were efficiently discharged by Mr Adams, assisted by the Committee. The following were present:—Miss Bell, Spanish Gipsy, Miss M. Hayr.
