The county elections yesterday resulted as follows :—Kaueranga (two members) : Pitkethley, 178 ; Walton, 158 ; Greenville, 114. Parawai (one member) : Dunlop, 48 ; Carpenter, 40. Hastings (one member) : Steadman, 36; Deeble, 33. Totara (one member): Townsend, 42 ; Nicholls, 33 ; Stevens, 22. Waiotahi : BrodieandCoutts returned unopposed. Olimcnunri. Paeroa, this day. The annual county elections took place here yesterday, and resulted as follows :—
Paekpa RiDixn. —Three members, ten candidates. Messrs W. G. Nicholls, C. J. Dearie, and J. M. Robson were returned.
Kaiiaxgahake Riding.—Two members, six candidates. Messrs Edward Quinn and Carroll Nash were returned.
Waitekauri Riding.—Two members, four candidates. Messrs E. M. Corbett and J. H. Moore were returned.
