ARRIVAL OF THE WAIHORA.
The s.p. Waihora arrived hero at 12.30 p.m. to-day from Melbourne via Hobart and South. She left Melbourne at 8 p.m. on the Ist inst., called at Hobart on the 3rd, and reached the Bluff at 5.30 a.m. on the 7th, and Dunedin early next day ; left again at 4 p.m. on the 9th, called at Lyttelton (10th), Wellington (11th), Napier (12th), and Gisborne (13th), leaving the latter port at 10.30 a. m. yesterday, and arrived as before stated. Experienced light southerly and westerly winds from Melbourne to New Zealand ; from Bluff to'Lyttel ton variable winds and fine weather ; from Lyttelton to Gisborne moderate head winds and rainy weather : thence to arrival light southerly and easterly winds and fine weather. Passengers : — Saloon : From Melbourne — Mrs and Miss Nichol, Mr T. Oliver. From Dunedin —Mr E. H. Taylor. From Lyttelton—Misses Smith, <Jillie3, Mr and Mrs Crombie, Messrs F. Garrick, Atkinson, Baird, and Haokett. From Wellingrtou—Miss Fraser, Major Boddam, Messrs "Waddell and Baker. From Napier—Miss Lyndon, Messrs Lewis, Longland, and E. Clarke. From Gisborne —Messrs Gilbride and Ewan, Messrs Liddy Witt, and A. Buckland, and 15 steerage.
