COMMERCIAL.

A very successful horse sale took place at Hamilton on Friday, when some really good useful stock were submitted for public competition by Mr J. McNicol. Draught horses fetched'from £8 10s to £19; hacks, £6 10s to £24 ; two-year-olds from £3 Is to £11. Mv E. B. Walker's draught horses brought from £14 to £24, and hacks, £6 10s to £15. Mr J. Storey's draught horses, £7 15s to £16 5s ; hacks, £12 to £16. Out of 55 lots offered only 4 were passed in.
