Hours of Polling.

j The elections are now drawing very olose, the polling day being on Monday week, and the nominations on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday next. Electors would do well to bear in mind the effect of the alterations in the law made last session with regard to the hours of polling. Inthecity of Auckland, theborough of Parnell, and the borough of Thames, the polling places will be open till 7 o'clock. All other polling places in the provincial district will close at 6 o'clock, the same as last year. There is one polling place for Newton, we understand, within the boundaries of the city, and it will be open till 7 o'clock. It is at Cox's Creek.
