THE BULGARIAN TROUBLE.
THICKENING OF THE PLOT.
RUSSIA'S SCHEME SUCCEED-
ING,
(SPECIAL.)
London, August 28. A Political deadlock is impending in Bulgaria. Prince Ferdinand's haughty isolation of manner is causing great dissatisfaction. The Czar has written violently reproaching the Prince with violating the Treaty of Berlin, and the Sultan in a despatch also upbraided the Prince but in a more moderate
manner.
There are indications that the Porte is yielding to the wishes of Russia with regard to Bulgaria, and Germany and France are considered likely to agree to the proposal of the Russian Govern" ment that a Russian general, w,ith full powers, shall accompany Artea! Pasha on his mission to Bulgaria.
