The Tramway Handicap, a handicap sweepstakes of 3sova eacli for starters, witli 200sovs added, distance three-quarters of a mile, was won by Mr Johnston's b g Glen Elgin, by Sir Arthur—Distant, aged, the Hon. W. A. Long's b c Moorbank, 3yrs, being second. Time, lmin lOsec. The Spring Handicap, a handicap sweepstakes .of 3sovs each for starters, with 2oosovs added, one mile and a quarter, fell to Mr G. Osborne's b h Algerian, oyrs, by Goldsborough—Algeria, who won by three lengths, Elsa beiug socond, and Toronto third. Time, 2min 13sec.
