How Tbey Have Fared Abroad.

After the Phoenix Park murders and subsequent execution of those convicted of the murder of Lord Cavendish and Mr Burke, popular feeling against the informers ran so high that they were kept in prison bo save bheir lives. Tho Governmenb casb aboub for means whereby to get rid of the incumbrances, and finally, with much socreoy and disguise, Kavanaugh, Smith, Carey and Farrefi were smuggled out of the country to various colonies. News has jusb been received of bhe informers, bhreo and a half years after the Invincible trials. Kavanaugh, the carman, has been dead for some time. He always drank hard, and after leaving Ireland went from bad to worse, and finally succumbed bo delirium bremenS. Joe Smibh, bhe man who from working for the Board of Works, making repairs to Dublin Castle, knew Mr Burke and pointed him out to tho assassins, is also dead. Ho died under much tho samo circumsbances as Kavanaugh. Peber Carey, a brobher of bhe noborious James Carey, who was shob by O'Donncll, has done remarkably well and is now in prosperous circumstances in one of the colonies. He Was, when in Dublin, always regarded as a sober, steady man and clever artisan. Bob Farrell, the van driver who firsb burned informer, is also doing well in andbher of tho colonies.
