Auckland Busby Union
A meeting of the members of the above body took place last night ,in the Cubroom at the Imperial Hotel. It was well attended by the various delegates. The Cup Committee first considered the protest entered by the Grafton Club against .a try gained by "Whiteside for Ponsonby -in the late match. Tho Committee heard tho arguments on both sides, and ultimately decided to disallow the protest. The question of the alteration of the club matches by the withdrawal of tho Waitcmata Club was next considered, and certain alterations in the programme were authorised. Permission was also granted several clubs under the Union to compete with outside clubs. Therefore Gordon will proceed next week to Wairoa South to play a representative team, while North Shore goes to the Thames to-day to play that club to-morrow.
