LATE SHIPPING.
-The cutter reported in-our last issue as having sank off the Hobson-street wharf was owned by Messrs. J. Brown & Co., foakers, 1. Ponsonby, but Iwas J under charter to Mr Ferguson. It seems that she had met with- some accident, as. she disappeared without notice. ,-Miis' boat is'well known, having traded in our harbour for upwards of four years. *■> ' ~, !
The s.s.' Penguin, leaving Onehunga on Monday next, will afford the last opportunity* passengers will have of joining the R.M.Si Rimutaka, which leaves Lyttelton' on 30th inst. Intending passengers by her should&therefore book at once*. ! ' , .
