WOMEN'S RIGHTS IN VICTORIA.
An influential deputation waited upon the Premier yesterday, to urge an amendment of the Electoral Act so. as to give the franchise to women. Mr Gillies stated that he was unable to deal with the; question ihig session, but promised; to closely consider the views of the deputation.
