London,. 16. — Consols remain at 101|. The bank rate of discount is 2 per cent., and the market rate 1 per cent. The Bank of England.reserve in notes and bullion to-day is ;£15,400,000, an increase of since last week. The proportion of the reserve to the'liabilities is 48 per cent. New Zealand inscribed stock remains at 89J. Off coast cargoes of Adelaide wheat are realising 35s 6d. Australian hides are in limited demand, and only at prices of one-eighth of a penny lower. , The wool market continues firm ; The catalogue at to-day's sale comprised 11 j9GO bales, making a total of 100,300 bales offered since the opening of the series.
