Potatoes remain just as they have been for somo weeks past. Bacon has met with better demand; no good local entered. Butter has gono off more frooly; no firstclass entered. Cheese : A large quantity oi second-class and inferior to hand. Onions and carrots in fair demand. Poultry and pio-a still at very low prices. furniture has been quiefc. Tho auction sales have been well attended. Saturday: Salo of stock of groceries and sundries at Mount Roskil. Thero was a fair attendance ; the groceries upon tho whole brought good prices. Wednesday; Salo of produce, fruit, <fee, at mart. It wub fairly woli attended ; tho following prices were realised : Potatoos, 2s 6d to 3s Gd ; mangolds, Is Id ; pumpkins, 2s 6d to 3s ; onions 44d to Id ; maise, 3s 9d; bacon, Canterbury, 4Jcl to s|d ; biscuits, 4^d ; cheese, 1J to 3d ; pears, ljd to 3d ; medlars, ljcl; fowls, 9d to Is 3d, Friday : Markot. day salo. A largo attendance good competition for many lines. Fruit of all kinds sold well. A good quantity of butter changed hands. Bacon moved ofl fairly well. Bub litblo done with cheese.
