LATE SHIPPING.
Tho departure of tho Manapouri for Sydney has been postponed to S p.m. to-day.
The barque Northern Chief made the passage from this port to Hokiangain about jive days, but was detained off bhe bar for tho following eigho clays. On Monday she got up to the" loading ground at Kohu Koh'u, and is now taking in timber for Melbourne.
