His; Honor considered his suggestion tho only fair way in which the burdens in dispute should be regulated.— Mr Cooper added that Mr Hesketh had told him that he had communicated this morning with the Chairman and Secretary of the Auckland Board with a view, if possible, of obtaining a meeting of the majority of the Board in order to determine whether or not the arrangement suggested by His Honor should be accepted.
