POLICE COURT.-This Day.

Jervis, J.P.'s.)
Drunkenness. —Two men were each fined 5s and costs, or 24 hours in default.—Jessie Wingate was fined £5 and costs, or 14 days' hard labour, for having been thrice convicted of. drunkenness. —Eliza McGinn pleaded guilty to having been drunk, and also to breaking two panes of glass in the window of the Pacific Hotel, value £4, the property of George Martin.—Sergeant Pratt stated that the woman went to the hotel under the influence of liquor, and upon being refused more liquor went'outside and broke the window.—The Bench fined the prisoner £4 and costs, or one month in default.
Petty Larceny.—Martin Dyer pleaded guilty to the larceny of one shirt, value 2s 6d, the property of Alexander Snedden, and was sentenced to one month's hard labour.
Alleged Perjtjry.—The charge of perjury preferred against Alexander Campbell was, on the application of Mr Ear], further adjourned for eight days, to allow'time for witnesses to be procured for the defence.
The Royal Aeromantia Temple of Wonders was opened in the Agricultural Hall again last evening, when a very successful performance was given uuder the management of Mr Max Rinkle. Tho performance will be repeated till further notice at very low prices of. admission.
