Evans reports: There ia a marked improvement In business during the last fortnight, a large and varied assortment of furniture, new and aecund-band, has been disposed of. The sale at MortonV, Richmond Road, was well attended, and eaUsfact-ry priosß realised. Many Inquiries are now made for desirable residences with two or three acres of land attached. Also, farms to lease, neur town, in reouest. Sales fff:cted: Small farm at Flat Bnah, 60 acres, with house and outbuildings, £160 ; small farm at Bomby, 85 aores and houaa, for £.500; leased farm at Bast Tamaki. 111, aores, for 5 years; sold that handsome residence of Mr T. F. Lees, Hamilton Road, Pomonby, for £1,250.
